This mill route starts at the Huul Mølle in Nibe, and ends 108 kilometers further at the Vennebjerg Mølle in Hjørring.
North Jutland has beautiful nature. At Skagen you can stand with one leg in the Skagerrak and with the other leg in the Kattegat. There are sand drifts throughout the area. The walking dune ‘Råbjerg Mile’ is every year moving ca. 15 meters to the east and is the best example of sandflight.
Huul Mølle consists of a medieval half-timbered building of unknown origin and a brick extension from 1833. The half-timbered part is a typical Renaissance mill. A water turbine was installed in the extension in 1927. The mill cannot be used.

WebsiteVennebjerg Mølle is a dutch ground-sail windmill with ground-winding. The mill was originally built in Bindslev in the year 1842. In the beginning of 1934 the mill was moved to Vennebjerg, to replace a stonemill from 1861. Nowadays corn is ground to flour on opening days, when the wind is blowing sufficient.
